#16 wikis

yes i think there could be a good use for this for a book club to the community.
to have own library wiki would be good instead of telling staff they could put in on the wiki and then we wouldn't have to remember ourselves.

#23 summary of program

overall i think i got some value from the program.
i would have liked a lot more time to explore each of the sections and learn more and maybe i would get even more from this.
i will use some of the things i have learnt from this program and hope to learn more by going over some of the sections at a later date.
i think it needed a lot more time for me. i am a slow learner and i think i need more of a hands on approach....but with the help of staff here i did get thru.

#22downloadable audio books

not sure about downloading ....can see a use for it in the library service though . i am one who likes to see what i am reading....i like o have the hard copy in front of me

#21 podcasts

could probably use this in some way but again i am a slow learner and i need much more time than have been given.

#20 you to can you tube

am not a big fan of all this video stuff and downloading it ....probably because i need more time to understand it and if i had a need for it then it would give me more incentive to learn...at this stage i will need to explore more.

#19 discovering web 2.0 tools

looked at the "medstory.com" site.......seemed to take a while to actually fine any relevant info for what i was looking for.....but need to explore further.

#18 web based apps

this caught my attention and i thought i might be able to use this in my position as registration secretary in my sport as i have a number of tables to fill out. will definitely give it a go.

#17 playing around with pbwiki

seems alright but how do we control it...could get out of control....

#13 del-icio-us

not sure i would use this
probably need to explore a little more before i start to play arounf with it.

#15 web 2.0 library 2.0

read a couple of the articles ....away from icebergs...and i thoroughly agree with what is being said...and it will probably happen sooner rather than later...but can we keep up with the technology ...is it worth traing for or should it we spend more time in development making is more user friendly in the first place.
to a temporary place in time... as technology expands the horizon we must also make it more accesible to the ordinary jo blo on the street.

#14 technorati

bit to technical for me at this stage of learning as we are learning so much in such a short space of time i need more time to fully see where i could use this .

#11 librarything

yes i liked librarything.....it was simple and easy to use and i have already put some of my collection at home into a catalogue and when time permits i am going to finish putting my scrapping books in....as when i go shopping for books now i take a printout of this and don't end up buying the same book as i have in previous times.

#10 image generator

did not like this as i found it very confusing and think i need lots more time to have a play.
would like as with bloglines to have more time to spend on learning more.

#9 bloglines

have not been able to create new blog recently due to a prbolem with my email adress and password ...this has now been rectified and i am now full speed ahead catching up on my blogs.

have setup my bloglines account and await the email clarification ...
have already got a a couple of blogs that i can enter in.
the bloglines is something i would possibly like to look into more and become more familiar with in due course
